Blueberry Hill Inn, Goshen, Vermont

6 cups fresh blueberries, picked over and washed
3 cups heavy cream
1/3-to-1/2 cup Vermont maple syrup

Thoroughly blend the heavy cream with the maple syrup.  The maple flavor should emerge as a subtle aftertaste.

Divide the berries into 1 cup portions, and pour 1/2 cup of the maple over each portion.

Serves 6.
