Buttermilk Panna Cotta with Marinated Citrus

Ingredients
1 teaspoon powdered gelatin
1/2 cup half & half
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Combine all ingredients, except buttermilk, in saucepan.

Bring to a simmer, remove from heat, and add in buttermilk.

Hit with stick blender and pour into containers.

MARINATED CITRUS
1 orange
1 grapefruit
1 blood orange
5 leaves of basil
Coarse ground black pepper
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon sugar

Preparation
Combine all ingredients.

Serves 4.
