Pesto Chicken Primavera

1 cup chicken
1/4 pound Linguini
1/2 cup broccoli
1/2 cup zucchini
1/2 cup red pepper
1/2 cup red onion
1/2 cup yellow squash
1/2 cup snow peas
3/4 cup cream
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons Italian spices
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 tablespoon pesto paste
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1 tablespoon white wine
Salt and pepper, to taste

Cook linguini.

Sauté chicken in oil and chopped garlic until fully cooked.  Remove and set aside.

Melt butter in skillet, add vegetables, and sauté for 2-to-3 minutes.  Add Italian spices, nutmeg, and pesto.

Sprinkle flour over vegetables, and add cream.  Stir together and sauté for 1 minute.

Add white wine, salt, and pepper, and let simmer for a minute.

Pour vegetables and cream sauce over pasta.

Place chicken on top and serve.

Serves 2.
