Ingredients
2 oz. Dunc’s Maple Rum
1 oz. Amaro Nonino
.25 oz. amaretto
3 drops citrus bitters
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass.
Fill halfway with ice, and stir about 40 times.
Strain into a coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.
This cocktail was originally made for a couple who had just gotten engaged. Tesoro Mio means "my treasure" in Italian.
Tesoro mio is literally “treasure mine”, meaning my darling, my sweetheart.
